What is a vintage print?
A vintage print is defined as one that was printed from the original negative or transparency at around the time that the original photograph was taken – generally within one year of exposure. The print itself should be at least ten years old.
Due to their rarity and the traditional production techniques used to create them, vintage prints are inevitably sought after and valued more highly than modern reprints.
