Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham described Ian Stewart as 'too ugly' to become a true member of the band. However his true musicianship became a vital part of the Stones' sound, and he worked with them until his death in 1985. The band dedicated their Dirty Work album to him, thanking Stu for 25 years of Boogie Woogie.
